Il est des aventures humaines qui naissent d’une rencontre, d’un voyage ou d’une passion. De ces trois situations est né le collectif PARALLAX.
Sept photographes venus d’univers et d’horizons différents se fédèrent avec pour volonté de croiser leurs regards sur le monde, de mettre en résonance plusieurs sensibilités, et de réfléchir ensemble sur le sens de l’acte photographique.
De New York à Bucarest, de Barcelone à Hanoï, de Londres à Saint-Etienne, les images du collectif convergent vers des préoccupations communes, et placent l’humain au coeur de leurs sujets. Les regards se font tour à tour documentaires, cinématographiques ou purement artistiques à travers la street photography, le portrait ou le reportage.

PARALLAX is born out of the three combined.
Seven photographers from distinct backgrounds and horizons unite in order to challenge their visions, in order to echo their sensitivity and in order to reflect on a shared meaning of Photography.
From New York to Bucharest, from Barcelona to Hanoi, from London to St Etienne, the images produced by the members of the collective collide and merge into joint creative thinking, be it documentary, street or purely artistic photography.
